Since the discussion is on election I would like to share my thoughts on it for our group members. Do not take it very lightly since this is the only weapon for the masses to control the uncontrolable and uncoothed politicians. This is not the time to say Oh' now the elction time and as usual all the stupid things will happen and finally there is going to be nothing changed' Please do not think so, if the civil society decides it can bring wounders. Even our Almighty Amma is worried about this one particular weapon on the hands of the poor. It was so obvious to see her acting as the messiah of the poor during the fag end of her term very generously disctributing money and anouncing crores of welfare schems one after another. Be sure once she comes back she will with vengence appropriate all the public spaces of the civil society. One can not make a cue and crey at that time. Now the question is whom to vote? My only answer is vote for the known devil than the unknown angel here it it our Amma. Don't bring in the issue of familial politics and self oriented etc. This will be there even if there was no election. Ultimately every one of the politicians will work towards that. Karnataka showed a fine example when Deval Gowda wanted to dismiss his son along with many others but finally his son got his blessings during one of the meetings. He is even acclaimed as the best MP/MLA and a best CM. They need someone in power to safeguard their propety.

Does Anyone Care

Its election season again..I always remember elections when I was a kid ..Colourfull flags all over the road, decorated banners,Kong size cut outs of our politicians as if they are gods, good looking walls destroyed with their creepy ads and loud speakers shouting into our ears from four directions, the list goes on.I used to think does it really make any sense. Its so explicit that they are spending so much money for their campaigns.Where did the money come from? Dont people think about this ? rather it seems they enjoy their circus and encourage it.Everybody says someone should come who can change all these things..but who is this SOMEONE? Is it some hero who is going to come and change everything by over night. There is no wonder tamilians are going behind cine heros. Why is not everyone thinking that some one could be "HIM".But the gene factor plays a role in this, the comfort of the slavery enjoyed for 2 thousand years, drowsiness of not taking responsibility, easiness in blaming others and this list also goes on.
My educated friend from chennai says VIJAYKANTH is that Someone.I was saying what crap?.He claims Vijaykanth had spent 3 crores of his own money for his one big "Mahanadu" in Madurai.I am just asking if you invest 3 crores on something dont you think you need to take the money back atleast by 50%. Wake up kids. You are on your own now.You cant afford to day dream.
