Since the discussion is on election I would like to share my thoughts on it for our group members. Do not take it very lightly since this is the only weapon for the masses to control the uncontrolable and uncoothed politicians. This is not the time to say Oh' now the elction time and as usual all the stupid things will happen and finally there is going to be nothing changed' Please do not think so, if the civil society decides it can bring wounders. Even our Almighty Amma is worried about this one particular weapon on the hands of the poor. It was so obvious to see her acting as the messiah of the poor during the fag end of her term very generously disctributing money and anouncing crores of welfare schems one after another. Be sure once she comes back she will with vengence appropriate all the public spaces of the civil society. One can not make a cue and crey at that time. Now the question is whom to vote? My only answer is vote for the known devil than the unknown angel here it it our Amma. Don't bring in the issue of familial politics and self oriented etc. This will be there even if there was no election. Ultimately every one of the politicians will work towards that. Karnataka showed a fine example when Deval Gowda wanted to dismiss his son along with many others but finally his son got his blessings during one of the meetings. He is even acclaimed as the best MP/MLA and a best CM. They need someone in power to safeguard their propety.
